Match the right dressy to the right Missy~ Part B & C

Heya girlies out there~ Don Vito here reporting in for the second and last segment of our panda's guide to the Dress-match-Girlie game~ This time round we will touch on the remaining 2 of the Big 3 body shapes. Namely; The Pear Shape and the Straight Body~

The Pear-Shaped
Pear shaped girlies will need to put in alil more effort when it comes to dressing. Simply because it involves balancing a slender neck, narrow shoulders, and a small bust with a shapely waist, generous hips, and full thighs. We think your best assets are probly your waistline, delicate upper body, shoulders and arms, so try to show-off these features when prettying up yourself for that friday night zouk event.

Pear Panda Should Do
Go hunting for strapless or sleeveless dresses to play up the arms and shoulders.(just nice for the hottie weather in S'pore) Or look around for empire waistlines and dresses that begin to flare at the hips. Pick flowing fabrics, especially when it comes to pants, and remember that straight skirts are best for pear-shaped girlies. To broaden that cute lil narrow shoulder, wear semi-fitted tops with square or cowl necklines.

Pear Panda Shouldn't Do
Run away from tops that are too loose or too tight and make you seem out of proportion. When looking for a blazer or jacket, make sure the bottom does not meet the widest part of your hips. Lastly, stay awaaaaaaaaaay from straight dresses that tend to tighten at the hips; this will only accentuate them which is what you probly don't want, if not you wouldn't be reading this beautiful article, ha.

The Straight-Shaped Body
You fall under the straight body pattern if you have an upper and lower body half that are equal in width. If you gained a few pounds(one too many chocolate fondues), they would most likely be equally distributed throughout the body, instead of going straight to your curves.(it's both good and bad news, good cause you won't have a pimped-up XL bum from overeating but negative cause no good fats will flow up to where we girlies all want an increment~!)

Straight Panda Should Do (Doesn't sound right but you get the idea)
Straight pandys should choose tops with necklines that fall below the collarbone so as to elongate the upper body and neck. Lookout for a longer suit jacket that will help lengthen the torso.
Skirts and pants with details can broaden the lower half of the body, while shirts with pockets on the bustline will emphasize that special area~

Straight Panda Shouldn't Do
Steer clear from belts or pleated fabrics at the waistline. These can make the area look thick instead of narrowing the waist.

Lastly, i would like to end this post with a few very the general causual tippys~(Dun worry Y Y, i ain't stealing your tipster column, hehe~)

Very the General Casual Tips
For girlies with lots of curves, shapely legs, and a defined waist, boast an hourglass figure by wearing belts or choosing tops and bottoms with defined waistlines.
Lil miss Petite girlie should avoid a cropped pant, and choose ones with a long and straight cut that will cover shoes to lengthen the legs.
And last but not least, the most important factor in looking spanking great is finding what flatters not only your body shape and size, but your personality too. While darker colors tend to be the most slimming, a fun accessory can spice up and add life to any outfit, regardless of your body type.

Match the right dressy to the right Missy~ Part A

"Why wasn't i born 2 cups larger? Why can't i have a perkier butt? Why does my body resemble the shape of a pear? Why is my arm so flabby? ...etc.." Common questions that run thru our vainly-oriented girlie brains. When it comes to picking out the right outfit for the right body shape, we will squeeze out every single drop of our highly-intellectual brain juice to get it right. Less those who don't mind emphasizing on the portions or parts that should rather be kept from sight or concealed and camoflagued. (Yes! there are still brave girlies around, i.e, the special force bunch of girlies who don't shave armpit hair..hehe, maybe it's considered sexy..just maybe..anyway, Respect~!). Ok ok, drifted off alil, back to the topic. Every girlie has a different and unique body shape but generally body shapes can be rounded up to the Big 3.

What in the bamboo forest is the Big 3 you ask? Here it is; Apple-Shaped(round) Body, Pear-Shaped Body, Bamboo-Shaped(straight) Body. Actually the last one is just straight body but since there's no fruits affliated, we decided to use bamboo since it's a straight thingy too.(is bamboo a type of fruit??) The next 3 paragraphs(part 2 & 3 in the next few days) from here on, we will give a quickie on what you should and shouldn't wear for your body type. By the way, when we say quickie, we meant a quick and brief review not the other quickie.. hehehe what were you girlies thinking.. Been watching too much animal planet eh?

Apple-Shaped
Girlies blessed with bigger/heavier assets(breasts), narrow hips and slimmer legs will fall into the Apple-shaped category. If you can't picture it right now and your mom is home with ya, take a deep breath and scream "Mummy! I wanna eat apple, don't slice, i want it in the original shape and don't peel off the sticker(some brands got 4 number, can go buy 4D, one of our lucky pandas here have strike before, serious..ha)" Drifted again, panda drift.. ~i wonder if u know, how panda live in tokyo, fat and furious, drift drift drift~ Okay, back to the stuff~

Apple Panda Should Do
Flaunt those legs like it's ILD(International Leg Day, it's on the 11 of every month...just kiddingx)~! Wear an A-line skirt to emphasize your waistline. For tops, try on some turtlenecks(can still survive if you work in office with good air-con system), boatnecks, or shirts with collars. Knits and woven stretch fabrics are one of the best choice for your body type. Wearing the recommended stuff will still give your assets their chance to shine and yet not overdo the whole thingy (i.e. wearing mid-low cut spaghetti) and end-up looking.. not too elegant and chic. If you are a cowgirl and swear by denim jeans, then the choice of your jeans should preferbly be a pair with front and back pockets. These will help disguise a rounder middle area while still accentuating your curves. If you an Office Warrior Princess, avoid pants with pleats but choose a flatter front instead.

Apple Panda Shouldn't Do
Steer clear from tops with puffy sleeves, or overly baggy clothing. Also avoid slim skirts and tight clothes, why you ask? Well because they will only emphasize a slimmer lower body half and create the illusion of imbalance, top big and bottom small. Then, dumb jerks might start labelling the "B" word, not like we girlies are too petty and can't deal with it but rather we should all strive to mesmerize the very same dumb jerks and then give'em nuthin! ha~!
